- Animal-Free (www.symbioticsoftware.com/apps/animal-free)) - Use this guide/barcode scanner before buying products to make sure ingredients are not animal-derived. You’d be surprised at how many ingredients come from animals.
- Cruelty-Free (www.symbioticsoftware.com/apps/cruelty-free) - A shopping guide to look up cosmetic, personal care, and household product companies while you’re on the go. It will help you avoid buying products tested on animals.
- InFurNo Cruelty Free Product Finder (iTunes) - inFURno! is a mobile application which helps you identify products from cruelty-free manufacturers quickly and easily. Recommends alternatives for products that are not cruelty free.
- Certified Humane Grocer Locator (http://certifiedhumane.org/download-our-mobile-app) - A grocery store locator that makes it easy to find Certified Humane products.
- Is it Vegan? (isitvegan.net) - A barcode scanner for food products that tells you…. you guessed it…. whether they are vegan or not.
- Vegaholic (vegaholic.com) - A portable guide to all things alcohol. Can you believe there are animal products in most wine? Crazy. Avoid that with Vegaholic.
- The Animal Abuse Defence Registry (aadr.ca) - Provides instant results as to whether the person to whom you’re adopting an animal has been convicted of animal-cruelty related charges.
- Raise Money For Animal Rescues (resqwalk.com) - Each week ResQwalk announces a donation pool (e.g. $2,500) and in order for a rescue to receive donations from the pool, its supporters simply need to check-in to the app when they go for a walk.
- Conscious Consumers (consciousconsumers.org.nz) - A business accreditation program and marketing platform that helps hospitality businesses respond effectively to increasing consumer demand for environmentally and socially responsible products and services.
- World of the Wild (Itunes) - An educational game to teach kids about many issues that affect animals globally.
- Protect Seals (Itunes) - An app that supports the ban against Canadian seafood due to the Canadian seal hunt
- Ethical Consumer Guide (ethical.org.au/know-the-score-in-the-store/) - An app that helps consumers make ethical product purchase decisions in Australia.
- LiveSafe (iTunes) - The leading mobile safety app. It allows you to share and receive info quickly and easily with your local police and neighborhood community.
- Beauty Without Bunnies (features.peta.org/cruelty-free-company-search/index.aspx) - A searchable web app of companies that do and don’t test their products on animals!
- peta2 (itunes.apple.com/us/app/peta2/id883848715?mt=8) - An iPhone app that makes it easier than ever to help animals wherever you are, literally. Whether you’re sitting in class or waiting in line to see your favorite band, you can take action for animals by signing petitions and completing easy lifesaving missions with the touch of a finger.

- More than Salad (Itunes) - A dish based vegan/vegetarian meal finder.
- Buycott (http://buycott.com/) - Boycott companies doing mean things to animals (or people, or the environment… but we’re really talking about animals here).
- Wildlife Witness (www.wildlifewitness.net) - An app to help identify where wildlife is being exploited for entertainment.
- NYS Animal Law (NYS Website) - An app to help citizens of New York State to understand all state animal welfare laws.
